Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
I’m walking in solidarity for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide, and in memory of the deeply loved Martin who’s both life and recent departure has impacted many. You are never alone. The pain of life’s challenges can get heavy, but tomorrow is always a new morning. Sometimes the only way to feel the light is to go out for a walk in nature, to find the beauty you haven’t felt for a while. I am comitted to keep on walking forward in this life, and this challenge for myself, for Martin, and for those suffering from mental illness. Life is a true gift, ride the waves, smile when god gives you a reason to, and keep on walking ! I love you. One step in front of the other, you will always find your way, and maybe even more beautiful trails than you could’ve ever dreamt you’d be worthy of seeing. Keep going
