A tribute for My father

I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not alone. My father took his life to mental health at 29 years old when I was 6 years old the struggles are real when you are effected by mental health. There needs to be more help and awareness to the failing system.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Fix a broken system

I'm walking to raise money for mental health awareness, to many people are loosing themselves to mental health, I have grown up around alot of mental health and struggles, my father took his life at 29 I was 6 at the time loosing a loved one it's hard on the ones still living being so young and not understanding was hard enough not being able to see my father again. Him not meeting my children watching me grow up just missing out on alot. My mother went through a mental health crisis also I've also had people close to us loose their lives to suicide to many taken to early. I have a drive for mental health I want to help people. while alot of lived in experience has opened my eyes to just how broken the system is and how much of those need help. Wish I could wave a magic wand and make things better and change a broken system. Seeing the broken system: Your lived experience and studies give you a raw, honest view of the gaps in mental health care that textbooks miss. Every step you take on your walk helps break the silence, fights the stigma, and lets others know they are not alone.
