One Foot Forward for Black Dog Institute 

Hello, and welcome to The Corner Store Armidale Walk Club.

This October we're lacing up our sneakers and putting in the steps together. We're raising money and awareness for Black Dog Institute, and for the mental and emotional wellbeing of the people we love (including ourselves.)

We'll meet out the front of The Corner Store Armidale (62 Beardy Street) every Saturday from 10th October at 7:30am and we finish with coffee and a good yap at a cafe nearby.

Come exactly as you are. Bring the whole family and the doggo (on a lead, please), or come solo and leave with a few new friends. You're welcome to chat the whole way or if you'd rather pop your earphones in and quietly soak up the spring morning beside us, that's completely allowed too.

Come to one walk or come to every single one, you can clock up your own kilometres in between as well, so set yourself a target and share your progress in our shared group, where we'll be cheering each other on all month.

And a little about me. . . 

Hi,  I'm Jo, and I own and run The Corner Store Armidale as well as an online private practice with programs and 1:1 support from a nervous system first approach. For over 20 years I've worked as a therapist, supporting people all over the world with their inner worlds and their mental and emotional wellbeing. I also really, really love a walk. Moving side by side has a way of making hard things feel lighter and good things feel even better, and doing it with our own community feels like such a beautiful thing to do together. 

It's spring, the mornings are getting warmer and brighter, and I can't even wait to walk with you.
