Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

Day twelve of the long walk.

Day twelve walk done and dusted. The numbers of willing victims are increasing every day with my beautiful niece Jess and her dashing husband Adam willing to sacrifice their sanity in the interest of a fantastic cause. I am hoping in the near future that if the number of walkers continue to increase I can slip away unnoticed and take a old man nap 🤣

Day six update.

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet nor hail shall stop the Mountain Clan from their appointment long walk achievements. Not as many speed traps setup this morning due to the rain so the pace was electric 🤣

Day four .

Day four of the long walk done and dusted the interest is building as our little crimal network increases. Although we attracted the attention of the Anti-Doping officials due to our amazing performance. We tested negative.

First walk of the month.

First walk of the month has clocked in at 4.9 km and despite being pulled up for exceeding the speed limit several times I was let off with a warning. So far so good.😁
