Support my walk for mental health research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?  This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide. I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most. It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk. Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Step by step - oh baby!

Feels good to cross the halfway mark and pass it ☺️ My sixth year and i didnt start in a good place however, i stuck it out and here i am at day 21 and looking forward to a team walk this Saturday. Walking has helped me keep my mood even but it really makes a difference to pace it out. I hope to reach my fund raising goal 😍thanks to everyone supporting me . Rahna Banana 😍🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

Step by step day one

Day 1 of walktober and the heavens opened can drowned Melbourne 😆🤣 Good to start off with a shorter distance today. A warm but rainy day in Naarm it was fun chatting and laughing with random people. splashing thriugh puddles 😆 The day atarted slow, i was tired and lacking any motivation or energy, but i knew i would kick it by starting my walk today. good luck to every one walking. please donate and help me reach my target 😇 and for those who have Thank you so much ☺️

World suicide prevention day 2026

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day, and I'm asking for your support. Next month, I'll be walking 100km in One Foot Forward to support Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide. Black Dog Institute are leading the way in research into suicide prevention, and have developed a range of resources and support tools to help people learn the warning signs and prevent suicide. My goal is to raise funds to help Black Dog Institute continue connecting research answers, expert knowledge and the voices of people who have experienced mental ill-health to deliver solutions that work. So please support my 100km challenge to support crucial mental health research and help change lives on this very important day.
