Day 8: Week Two begins!
I started today with a long walk with my gorgeous team mate, Lisa - 9kms! Then after a breakfast break did my 5x5 routine… tomorrow I’ll start adding some weights 💪🏻 Share
Striding forward and getting stronger for mental health research
5 squats
5 lunges
5 push-ups
5 leg raises 🦵
5 supermans 🦸♀️
And as the month progresses, I will do these with added weights (hand weights and resistance bands).
* Initially, I was planning to walk 5km per day for the month, but my health professionals team advised me, for my bone health, to focus on strength vs endurance 😏💪🚶♀️
