Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates
Why i’m taking one foot forward 🧡
This October, I’m committing to walking, running or moving 100km for mental health. 👟🧡 This challenge is quite a personal one for me. I’ve experienced my own struggles with mental health over the years, and I’ve also watched people very close to me go through their own battles. It’s something that can affect absolutely anyone, but living in a rural community has also shown me just how quietly people can struggle. Sometimes the conversations aren’t had, support can feel a long way away, and people simply keep going without anyone really knowing what’s happening behind the scenes. That’s part of why I created our team, The Rural Crew. 🫶🏻 Throughout October my personal goal is 100km and $850 raised, while together The Rural Crew is aiming for $2,000 for the Black Dog Institute. For me, this isn’t just about reaching a number. It’s about starting conversations, showing support and reminding people that they don’t have to struggle silently. So here goes… 100km in October! 👟😂 Every step is for something much bigger. 🧡 ShareThank you to my Sponsors
