500km for 5 years!!

The bandaids are stocked and the new runners have arrived! 

This October marks a massive milestone for me: my 5th year in a row lacing up for Black Dog Institute’s #OneFootForward challenge.👟💙 

Having shared this journey on here over the past few years, some of you would know how much this challenge means to me. I’ve navigated my own mental health challenges for many years, lost loved ones in their battles, and continue to support others on their journey. 

Since 2022, I have clocked MANY kms, but to mark year five, I want to push the boundaries even further. This month, I am committing to a huge target: 500 km of combined, intentionally logged running and walking throughout October. Breaking that down means clocking roughly over 16km every single day for 31 days! 

This year I have allowed myself up to a max of 5 small bike rides to help me out in case I get any illness or injuries!

Over the past four years, thanks to the incredible generosity of my friends, family, network and even complete strangers, I’ve proudly raised $5500 for mental health research and support services.
