Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we canΒ create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

I am my mother’s child. I carry her strength, her memory, and the values that continue to guide me. I will keep working towards healing and helping others πŸ€πŸƒβœ¨

A lovely little walk around black swan lake today πŸƒπŸ¦‹

Soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the surroundings and watching the butterflies fluttering around. There’s something so calming about being in nature and simply taking it all in. 🀍 Sometimes it’s the simple little moments that bring the most peace. πŸ¦‹πŸŒΏπŸͺ·

3km walk today πŸƒπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

To start off One Foot Forward. A lovely, peaceful walk with Pink Floyd playing in my ears, taking in the fresh air and giving myself some quiet time to just be. It was one of those walks where memories of Mum came flooding back. 🀍 Reminiscing, reflecting and thinking about the moments we shared, the things she loved and the memories I’ll always carry with me. Missing you, Mum. πŸ€πŸ¦‹

πŸƒ one foot forward β€” october πŸͺ·πŸ€

This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to walk, connect and raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing. πŸ‘£πŸ’š I’ve set myself a personal goal of walking 63km β€” one kilometre for each year of my beautiful mum’s life. 🀍 For me, this walk represents more than just putting one foot in front of the other. It represents strength, healing, resilience and choosing to keep moving forward β€” even when some days are harder than others. 🌿 There have been moments in my life where simply getting through the day has been an achievement. I’ve learnt that looking after your mental health isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s an act of courage and self-love. 🀍 This October, I’m walking for myself, for the people I love, for those who are struggling silently, for those who are healing, and in memory of those who are no longer here to take the next step. πŸ¦‹ 63km for 63 years of Mum’s life β€” 63 years of love, memories, strength and a life that will always be part of mine. 🀍 One foot. One step. One day at a time. πŸ‘£ 63km. For Mum. For mental health. For healing. πŸƒπŸͺ·πŸ€ #OneFootForward #63kmForMum #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealthAwareness #Wellbeing #Healing #Resilience #OneStepAtATime πŸ¦‹
