Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates
35th anniversary and big walk.
After being shaken by the car accident on the 1st October, the walk has been slow. On the upside, Johan and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. After lunch, with Oldest grandchild in her wagon, went for long walk. It was lovely afternoon, exploring areas close to home, but seemly nonexistant as I drive most places. The world on foot, opens up. The beauty of gardens, parks, pedestrian bridges. Creeks, of drainage water. The mean, cross, bull dog barking meanly as it unsuccessfully tried to launch itself at us. Its large body got caught in the fence. Its flat face aggressively barking at us. Share
Shocking start!
I ran into another car leaving work! The first day of my One Foot in Front of Another, ended with me my car being towed. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
