Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
My Updates
End of challenge thanks
Thanks to everyone for supporting me in smashing my goals. it’s been a tough month considering I was hospitalised only a short time ago, but I was determined to do this, as it’s such an important cause, and being a sufferer of mental health issues, know the importance of getting the right help. A very special shout-out to my Physio for your recent donation, it means a lot. Share
I’m almost at my goal
Unfortunately I can’t reach my financial goal but I’m proud of my walk regardless Share
Update 13/10
Feeling pain today in my back and coming down with a cold but still battling on. I’m stronger than the storm! Share
Struggling at the moment
I’m persistently trying to achieve my goal even though at times I am not feeling up to it. Hopefully after my next med dose tomorrow I will feel better. Share
Update
Not feeling the best today but got in 1.5km walking. Went to Werribee South Beach always lovely there in nice weather Share
Update
I’m enjoying this walk for the Black Dog Institute and amazed at how quickly the distance travelled just doing routine things accumulates. I’m not even half way through reaching my goal distance wise but am determined to get there. ShareThank you to my Sponsors

I’m walking in solidarity this October for Australians affected by mental illness and suicide. You are not alone. I am a sufferer and struggle to go on but have found the inner strength to do so even with other disabilities.
