We live in a society where more than half of Australians will not actively seek help. I’m running this October and raising funds in hope that we can change that together. Sharing our own experiences with mental health and normalising talking about heavy topics may encourage others to step forward and seek the help they deserve. As a community we can provide tools that could improve someone’s quality of life. We all are entitled to a fighting chance and a helping hand. You are not alone, you are heard and you are loved

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

Over 40% of Australians will experience a mental disorder at some point in their lives, and most of them will not seek out the help they need. My dad committed suicide due to poorly managed mental illness when I was young and I have had my own mental health struggles, so this topic hits home for me, and I can’t say enough how proud I am of you for doing this challenge and spreading awareness for mental illness and the need to keep talking about it. Keep being the change you want to see in the world bud
