Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

3.9km walk this morning, but no sunrise, due to heavy cloud cover

Evening walk

I decided on a later afternoon/evening walk today, just to mix it up. Listened to the birds getting ready for bed and greeting fellow walkers. Lots of questions about my OFF shirt. My act of kindness, I hope it happens every day with all my beautiful clients

1st october

Very early start as my 1st client is at 7am. Very peaceful walking along the beach listening to the birds wake and the surf.

My sister

I am fund-raising for mental health and honouring vivacious, entertaining, best hugger sister, Julie, who I miss like a limb. I miss our chats, laughter and ridiculousness but hold her memory tightly around me. I am hoping to raise funds to help make councillors readily accessible for those in need. I am walking for Julie
