Help me raise funds for vital research and support.
I am very lucky.
I've had my share of dark days, for sure, but I have never really faced struggles with my mental health. I don't take that for granted.
One of the people I love most on this earth has - and continues to - face those struggles. It's a daily fight, and one that i am so proud of her for fighting.
But it's not easy for her or any of the 1 in 5 Australians that experience mental illness every single day.
So this October I am walking in the Black Dog Institute "One foot forward" campaign to support my daughter and everyone else fighting this horrible illness in any of its many complex forms.
Over the month of October I will walk at least 150km to let them all know that they are not alone, they are loved so very very much and the hole they would leave in all of our lives could never be filled.
With the right help and support, great things are possible.
