Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, Iโ€™m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we canย create better mental health for all Australians.

Now we have arrived in Cusco Peru ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ช, we spend the next 2 full days in Acclimatisation โ€˜modeโ€™, allowing our bodies to adapt to the altitude. Currently at approx 3400masl - walked up to 3800 this morning. Tomorrow is an early start visiting the โ€˜Sacred Valleyโ€™ plenty of pics to come. Wednesday our time , we start our big trek up through the Salkantay Pass with a 4.30am start ๐Ÿ™ˆ The big mileage will really start to kick in and we will climb to over 4800 mtrs on Thursday.

Here we go โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ช

Boarded and waiting to push back โ€ฆ. My wonderful trail leader and bestie PT, Cherie Horne is onboard and ready to go . Iโ€™ll make sure I get up and do some steps in the air every hour. Given the altitude do I get double the step count ?? or check in again soon
