This October, I'm walking 9 for 9, 9kms each day of October, equating to 279km in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide. Mental Health is equally as important as ones physical health and actively participating in fundraisers like this hopes to encourge further research, support and opportunities to raise awareness for the impact mental health can take on individuals. Another hope is to reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health which encourges hidden struggles to stay hidden. The leading cause of death for ages 14 - 45 in Australia is currently suicide and I would like to live in a world where that statistic changes.

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.
