A tribute for Sandy and Channy

I've now lost 2 nieces to suicide; Channy took her life on Sept 15th. We laid her to rest yesterday and today (the start of this challenge) is my birthday (I'm a 13 yr lung cancer survivor) so it seemed right and fitting to do this challenge. Mostly on my treadmill because of my crappy lungs and hips BUT I am determined to do her proud. She was the most amazing, beautiful well-loved woman you could ever meet. I've already smashed my dollar amount and hope to do the same to my km goal. #forever19and44

Support My Walk for Mental Health Research

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness each year?

This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help Australians impacted by mental illness and suicide.

I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.

Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

My Updates

update

As my lung cancer from 15 yrs ago is back and I'm about to start radiation treatment im joining together with Russell this yr to do a team effort as I'm sure the fatigue may kick my arse again. I am still aiming to do 40 kms for my share and will rely on russ to do the rest. In memory of sandy and channy #forever19and44
