Support My Walk for Mental Health Research
Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.
This October, I’m taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and suicide.
I'm walking to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk.
Together, we can create better mental health for all Australians.

I will be doing this 2nd year in memory of my 2 nieces sandy and channy. Channy only took her life a year ago. She lit up every room she entered with her sparkling blue eyes and wide smile. Forever19and44 Share

Loading my impact...
I've now lost 2 nieces to suicide; Channy took her life on Sept 15th. We laid her to rest yesterday and today (the start of this challenge) is my birthday (I'm a 13 yr lung cancer survivor) so it seemed right and fitting to do this challenge. Mostly on my treadmill because of my crappy lungs and hips BUT I am determined to do her proud. She was the most amazing, beautiful well-loved woman you could ever meet. I've already smashed my dollar amount and hope to do the same to my km goal. #forever19and44
